I am Webster Certified and a NASM-Certified Women’s Fitness Specialist, so I have helped pregnant moms with the typical pain you experience during pregnancy as well as how to feel confident with exercise while pregnant. So far, I have helped 25 moms with breech fetal presentations, and by the end of care all 25 babies presented head down.
I do my best to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the appointment time to allow me to set up my equipment without taking time away from your visit. We will go over paperwork and answer any questions you may have.
I will then perform an examination which consists of a holistic movement screen, Range of Motion specific to site of pain, Orthopedic and Neurological Testing. If x-rays are needed, a prescription for what is needed will be given to you to have performed at an urgent care or your primary care physician’s office·
After the examination is finished, a differential diagnosis will be made, and we can discuss what treatment options or alternatives are appropriate for you. Treatment that is deemed clinically necessary, safe, and agreed upon will be performed at this time, which typically consists of:
Adjustments based on motion palpation – no neck adjustments without x-rays.
Myofascial Release on the muscles in the affected area (even if it’s not where the main site of pain is)
Dry Needling if clinically necessary and consented to
A Rehab program built with PreHab Guys will be emailed to you following the first visit, and will be progressed as we get through your treatment plan. This program will have videos for you to follow along with so that you can be confident in what you are performing at home - no more 2D images of the exercises you should be doing!
Not necessarily, depending on the severity of your concerns, it may just be two visits a week for two weeks and then discharged to maintenance visits. More severe issues may take a follow up visit per week for a couple more weeks until being discharged to maintenance.
We all have different bodies and requirements for daily tasks, so these visits look different for everyone and have a different frequency. I personally value a maintenance visit at least once per quarter as life usually changes with the seasons, though I do have patients that appreciate a visit every two weeks.
No, I will even come to your workplace! I take care of the staff at dentist offices, animal hospitals, and even hair salons. I find the benefit to my business is that I’m able to help people with jobs that are hard to get away from. So instead of having to dedicate hours out of your workday for travel to care, get said care, and then travel back to work, you only need to allot the time for the treatment out of your workday.
The first visit is typically longest since we are getting into the weeds of what you’re experiencing, typically 45 minutes to 1 hour. Follow-Ups and Maintenance visits range from 10 to 30 minutes depending upon what treatment is necessary.
Chiropractic
What you gain from a chiropractic session with me:
-
Personalized assessment & targeted treatment: From the moment I arrive, I will evaluate your posture, spinal joint mobility, muscle tension and functional movement. Then I will create a treatment plan tailored to your goals - whether it’s pain relief, improved performance, better movement, or recovery from injury.
-
Pain relief & reduction in discomfort: Chiropractic adjustments (spinal or joint manipulations) are shown to reduce back pain, neck pain and headaches by reintegrating joint mobility and restoring how your body moves. Manual therapy (hands on soft tissue) helps relieve muscle spasms, reduce inflammation, and restore movement. (Motion Rx) Dry Needling targets trigger points and nerve innervations zones that improves circulation, reduces muscle tension, and can accelerate recovery. (Cleveland Clinic)
-
Improved mobility, flexibility & function: By addressing joint restrictions, muscle imbalances and soft-tissue tightness, you’ll often gain a greater range of motion, better ease of movement, fewer painful or stiff areas.
-
Non-invasive, drug-free approach: Chiropractic care is often promoted as an alternative to medication or surgery for many musculoskeletal issues. Because I integrate adjustments, manual therapy, and dry needling, the treatment remains minimally invasive and focused on restoring your body’s own healing ability rather than masking symptoms.
-
Faster recovery & better athletic/everyday performance: If you train, work physically, or simply want to move better in daily life, these treatments help you recover from wear-and-tear, workouts, repetitive strain or injury. Dry Needling in particular helps athletes by improving muscle function and movement capacity. Chiropractic adjustments plus manual therapy aid in returning to your active lifestyle more quickly.
-
Long-term wellness & prevention: It’s not just about “ fixing this one pain.” Regular alignment, mobility work and soft-tissue maintenance reduce the likelihood of recurring problems or compensations arising. For example, improved posture and spinal health support overall wellness.
-
Tailored to your needs: Because every body is different, we adapt the treatments based on your body’s presentation, goals, environment, and preferences. The personal approach yields better results.
